The Classic 100 is worth comparing when the Sentinel Angler’s capacity or deck layout is too restrictive. Its 350 lb rating is 75 lb higher, without increasing overall length beyond ten feet.
The wider hull and equipment bring the published weight to 57 lb. Decide how that boat will get onto your vehicle before deciding how many accessories to add. Capacity, storage volume and carrying weight are three separate constraints.
Metric conversions are rounded from the published inch and pound figures. Weight is a published reference, not an independent measurement. Confirm included equipment and the load guidance for the exact kayak.
Try the seat at both positions on land. A wide deck is not a promise that standing will be safe in every condition. Keep essential gear accessible while seated and learn the boat’s limits with appropriate instruction.
Work through the choosing checklist and plan transport and storage before the first outing.
