A place for the tackle. Room for the day.

Pelican fishing kayaks

From the shorter Sentinel 100X Angler to the pedal-driven Catch 110HDII, the important differences are the seating arrangement, gear storage, propulsion and the weight you will have to move.

What to compare first.

Keep names separate

Sentinel 100 and Sentinel 100X Angler are different configurations. Catch Classic, Catch Mode and Catch HDII also have different equipment; one feature list cannot stand in for all three.

Add the equipment load

Water, tackle, a cooler and removable accessories all use capacity. The reference limits in this selection range from 275 to 400 lb; none is a paddler-only rating.

Plan for the lift

Reference weights here run from 44 to 68 lb. The drive and other removable components can complicate the comparison: ask what a published weight includes.
