Pelican SEEK 100XP Angler

A fishing deck arranged around access from the seat.

The SEEK 100XP Angler puts an Ergobar support system alongside the seating area and divides storage between a removable bow bag and a covered rear tankwell. It is a 10-foot sit-on-top, not a sit-in kayak.

Around the cockpit

The Ergobar system and slip-resistant area are designed around getting in, getting out and reaching equipment.

Fishing fittings

An accessory track, flush-mounted rod holders and adjustable footrests are included in the reference equipment list.

Soft storage

An ErgoFlip bow bag and ripstop tankwell cover offer a different storage arrangement from the Sentinel Angler’s ExoPak.

Where it fits

Compare the SEEK with the Sentinel 100X Angler when the deck arrangement matters more than keeping the kayak below ten feet. Look closely at where your hands would go while boarding and where the bags sit relative to the seat.

The trade-off

The SEEK adds six inches of length and 25 lb of published load capacity over the Sentinel Angler. That is not an invitation to fill every storage space: your actual load and comfortable access still need checking.

Metric conversions are rounded from the published inch and pound figures. Weight is a published reference, not an independent measurement. Confirm included equipment and the load guidance for the exact kayak.

Specification check. Weight conflict: the specification table lists 48.1 lb, while a marketing panel says 49.5 lb. That panel also calls it sit-in; the detailed description and specification table identify a sit-on-top. The comparison follows the detailed table.

Before you choose

Keep this Angler version separate from the SEEK 100X recreational model. The names are close, but the accessory list is part of the choice. Verify the weight of the supplied configuration before transport.

Work through the choosing checklist and plan transport and storage before the first outing.
