Where it fits

Start here when a basic solo sit-in is enough and moving the kayak matters as much as using it. Measure the route from your storage spot to the car: a low published weight does not make a ten-foot object easy to turn through a narrow doorway.

The trade-off

The 275 lb rating is a total carrying limit, not a paddler-only allowance. Count clothing, drinking water, safety equipment and bags. The Argo 100X EXO adds removable cooler storage, while the Mustang 100X EXO has a higher published capacity.
